Welcome to Pack 321

Pack 321 serves families in Oak Creek and surrounding communities and has been serving families since 1967. We welcome boys and girls, and Scouts may attend any school or live in any nearby community. Pack 321 is family-first and ready for adventure.

How Cub Scouting Works

Scouts are grouped into dens by grade or rank. Dens meet separately for age-appropriate activities, and the full Pack meets together for larger events. Families participate alongside their Scouts because Cub Scouting is designed to be completed with adult support.

Cub Scout Ranks

Meetings

Pack meetings are generally held every third Tuesday at Carollton Elementary unless otherwise announced. Den schedules may vary. Families should check the current Pack calendar and BAND announcements because event details may change based on location, weather, or availability.

Family Participation

Cub Scouting is a family program. Parents and guardians are expected to remain involved, and Scouts may not be dropped off and left without an approved responsible adult. When a parent cannot attend, another designated adult must be arranged. Siblings and grandparents are welcome when the activity allows.

Communication

BAND is the Pack's primary communication platform, so families should enable notifications. The website provides public information, while event-specific instructions will be shared through BAND. Please keep your contact information current so Pack leaders can reach your family when needed.

Uniforms

The official Cub Scout uniform is commonly called the Class A uniform. Class A uniforms are expected for Pack meetings, ceremonies, and designated events. Event announcements will specify when another type of clothing is appropriate. Families should ask their den leader when unsure.

Handbooks and Adventures

Each rank has age-appropriate adventures. Some adventures are required and others are elective. Pack 321's website provides links to official Scouting America adventure information, and Scouting America maintains the official current requirements. Den leaders help families understand what is being completed.

Events and Activities

Pack 321 activities may include camping, fishing, hiking, Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, service projects, the Blue & Gold celebration, graduation and advancement, community events, and family outings. The schedule varies by year.

Camping and Outdoor Events

Families receive event-specific packing instructions. Health forms may be required, and youth must remain under appropriate adult supervision. Families should review arrival, departure, food, sleeping, and safety instructions before attending. Some events may require registration or additional fees.

Health and Safety

Required health forms must be current. Allergies, medications, and important needs should be communicated appropriately. Adult supervision and youth-protection requirements apply, event-specific safety rules must be followed, and families should contact Pack leadership with questions before an event.

Costs, Dues, and Fundraising

Scouting America registration fees are paid as directed during registration. Pack costs, activity fees, or fundraising expectations are communicated separately. Fundraising helps support Pack programming, and families should contact Pack leadership when financial assistance may be needed.

Volunteering

Family participation helps Pack 321 succeed. Volunteers can help for one event or take on a continuing role. No prior Scouting experience is required for many opportunities, and training and guidance are available.
